PRESSING VASE IN A MUG PRESS * Size and print mirrored image to match size of vase being pressed. * Using thermal heat resistant tape, tape transfer face down on vase. * Wrap vase and transfer with either a plain piece of paper or piece of Teflon. * Pressing on the Mug King Press –Set 2120 F - Temp 3600 F –Time 12 sec. Other Presses without an idle press at 400 degrees for 5-6 minutes using heavy pressure. * Remove vase from press. Immerse dispenser in room temperature water and allow to cool. When completely cool, remove from water and dry with a soft cloth. * Pressing times may vary slightly. Adjust according to your own press.
PRESSING TEA POT USING A MUG WRAP * Pre heat oven to 400 degrees. While oven is preheating, prepare vase, images, and wraps * Tape transfer to the vase using heat tape. * Place a piece of plain paper down on the inside of the wrap (to soak up the extra sublimation) * Place the wrap around the vase inserting catch block through the handle of the pitcher. Engage catch block with catch bar. Align wrap to be even with the top, bottom and the handle of the mug. Adjust tension bolt until snug. * Place up-side down on center rack of oven. Allow air space between vase and oven walls of 2". Vases should be evenly spaced and not touching. * Bake for 15 minutes. Baking times will vary depending on oven and number of vases being baked. It is recommended that getting a monitor to check the temperature in the oven. * While vases are baking, fill container with room temperature water. Water should be deep enough to fully submerge tea pots. * Using oven mitt, carefully remove wrapped vases from oven and immediately remove wrap and transfer. * Immerse vase in water and allow to cool. When completely cool, remove from water.
